David Brabham Video Blog: Recalling 50 Years Of Family Success At Sebring

David Brabham, aiming for outright victory at the 2014 12 Hours of Sebring this weekend, recalls 50 years of family success spanning three generations at the famed Florida circuit, joined by brother Geoff and nephew Matthew.

It all began in 1959, when Sir Jack took his first of three Formula 1 World Championships by pushing his out-of-fuel Cooper-Climax across the line to finish fourth in the US Grand Prix.

Thirty years later, Geoff took the 12 Hours of Sebring title for Nissan in 1989 and again in 1991, teamed with brother Gary, while David has so far scored a trio of victories across GT1, GT2 and LMP2 in 2005, 2006 and 2010 respectively.

Third generation driver Matthew took his first US victory at Sebring in the 2012 Cooper Tires Winterfest USF 2000 Championship. The 20 year-old was awarded the Gorsline Scholarship at Sebring International Raceway yesterday (Thursday).
