Join Brabham At The British Grand Prix - F1 Racing Fan Village
David and the Brabham team will be dropping into the F1 Racing Fan Village at Whittlebury Park next week, to join in the British Grand Prix fun at the heart of the campsite closest to Silverstone circuit.
Fans will have plenty of chance to catch up with the Brabham crew and find out how to become an integral team member with unrivalled inside access as Brabham Racing strives to come back and create motorsport history once again.
In the spirit of triple Formula 1 World Champion Sir Jack, Brabham is changing conventions and breaking down the usual team/fan relationship barrier by coming back as an open and transparent race team. By throwing open its doors to usually closely guarded information, Brabham is giving fans, drivers and engineers unrivalled behind-the-scenes access and direct team interaction through its Brabham-Digital online experience portals.
An informal Project Brabham Meet & Greet at the F1 Racing Fan Village Pavilion on Thursday (2nd July) from 6.30pm will offer the perfect opportunity to meet David and Sam Brabham, and ask the crew questions about Brabham Racing’s planned return as a sustainable world-class team.
From around 8pm, the Brabham team will kick back and continue into the evening with a friendly game of footie with the fans, where David and Sam will no doubt be showing off their not so shabby footwork skills.
After a long day at the circuit on Saturday, campers at Whittlebury Park can also join David for the first ever Rockaoke Dinner and Song night in the heart of the F1 Racing Fan Village. David commented: “As it is a Rockaoke night, I will have to bring out an old Aussie song I used to sing on the farm where nobody could hear me, and I hope the crowd will join in the fun.
“The British Grand Prix is one of the highlights of the year and F1 Racing goes all out to make it an enjoyable experience, I’m so pleased that the Brabham team and I can join in the fun.”
Anthony Rowlinson, F1 Racing Editor in Chief said: "We're thrilled that David will be joining us at the F1 Racing Fan Village. From his own F1 career to his new sportscar project and memories of his legendary father Jack, David has plenty of great stories to entertain guests at the F1 Racing Fan Village - and we're sure his promised Rockaoke performance will be just as fun to watch."
Sunita Davies, F1 Racing Publishing Manager added: "It's great that news that David will be part of the fun at the F1 Racing Fan Village. With a pub quiz hosted by Sky Sports F1's David Croft, a Rockaoke night including a live band, free WiFi throughout the site and even a day spa, there's plenty to keep guests entertained when they're not watching the action at Silverstone."
